This week I developed a new favourite: OATMEAL. Yes, bloggers have been ga-ga for oatmeal for years but I had never been crazy for this breakfast staple…I’m not a huge fan of hot things in the AM, I would prefer icy smoothies or something sweet and crunchy (granola!). Anyway, I’ve converted! I now love oatmeal! This week I’ve been having oatmeal, flax, Spirulina and protein powder almost every morning this week. Also, I love it as an afternoon snack.

Preworkout perfection: One pack of organic instant oats with flax, 1/2 scoop protein powder of choice, 1 tsp of Spirulina, 2/3 cup HOT/boiling water or almond milk. Mix. Enjoy!

Here’s a sampling of what I’ve feasted on this week. Enjoy and be sure to suggest any meal suggestions in the comments below:)

Breakfasts: -Matcha, vanilla protein powder and oatmeal<br /><p class=-Squash, coconut oil and protein powder
-Protein bar
-Pumpkin puree, coconut oil, quinoa and cinnamon

Breakfasts:

LUNCHES:-Luna Peanut Butter Cookie Bar, Natural Popcorn and Snap Peas (not in photo)<br /><p class=-Oatmeal, cinnamon and flax
-Red kidney beans, black beans, cabbage and carrots.

LUNCHES:
-Luna Peanut Butter Cookie Bar, Natural Popcorn and Snap Peas (not in photo)
-Oatmeal, cinnamon and flax
-Red kidney beans, black beans, cabbage and carrots.
-Taco salad with black beans and 

guacamole

DINNERS:-Field greens with baked tofu, walnuts, and pears in a olive oil vinaigrette<br /><p class=-
-Jicama, watermelon and black bean salad
-Devilled eggs, bruschetta, pizza

DINNERS:

  1. I love the idea of your oats as a snack! I am always running out of snack ideas and need something that’s going to fill me up! None of this 2 tbsp of hummus nonsense! ;) I have been loving thick green smoothies in a bowl this week (topped with some Love Grown granola). Fav salad combination these days is lots of greens and vegetables with sweet potato, some sort of protein, grapefruit, and tahini! Delicious and filling.
