When you want to indulge, do it right and hit up Yooglers.

Last night I had the pleasure of indulging in The East Village’s newest sweet spot, Yooglers Frozen Yogurt. This shop is only one week old but is already developing a loyal following due to the store’s fun and bubbly atmosphere. I was drawn into the shop by the bright balloons on the sidewalk and was greeted by a tasty sample. Not only does this store stand out due to its bright and cute setting, but also due to its energetic and friendly staff…they were so lovely!

Here’s a shot of the ‘Smart Bar’, on the bottom, which offers whole grains, nuts and childhood cereals for healthier options.

Maple Bacon Doughnut?!

After heading to the back of the store to sample a few more flavours, I was greeted by Hector Maldonado, the store’s manager. Hector was so passionate about the shop and about bringing Yooglers to America, since it is a Spanish company. He wants his store to be a fun, indulgent and playful experience. With over 20 different flavours daily and over 100 toppings, the froyo experience is definitely an exciting one! Also, it offers many options to make the experience as indulgent as you wish, if you want to go all out, they’ve got many types of chocolate toppings and caramel sauces, but if you want some cleaner choices you can stick to a lovely vegan, dairy-free sorbet and some fruit and whole grain toppings. If you are indulging, but sure to try out the Horchata flavour, that is unique to the store.

Hector is worth the visit!
